Emily + Jon ~ Sunset Key Wedding

We love when a wedding comes together as the bride and groom’s visual dream of perfection.  It is also a great thing when a photograph captures the essence of that vision…we were lucky to have the bride’s cousin our photographer, so she knew exactly where to “find the love”!

So we invited you to enjoy the some-many-to-choose-from photos (captured though the eyes and lens of Currie Fitzhugh) of Emily + Jon’s Dream Wedding in Key West…

A Mother’s Day Salute

Mother’s Day is this Sunday – and as a salute to the ladies we love, we wanted to share some “oldies but goodies” of photos of WGTK’s brides & their moms.

But who better to start with, than Mama-to-be and our fearless leader Nadene??  Here she is pictured at on her wedding day with her mom and sister enjoying the photobooth!

As you scroll these these beautifuly captured moments, do you see anyone you know?  Which is your favorite and do you have a photo to share from your wedding day?

Mom is always counted on to help the brides with that last finishing touch before heading to her groom!

Christine + Matt’s Casa Marina Wedding

One of our recent adorable couples, Christine + Matt got to have their dream wedding in Key West.

Our couple hails from Central Florida – Winter Park, where  their closest friends and family came from too.

The wedding started with a traditional ceremony at the beautiful and historic St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church and was followed at one of our favorite venues, the Casa Marina Resort.

Radiant Orchid 2014’s Color of the Year

Annually, Pantone declares a color “Color of the Year”. Twice a year the company hosts a secret meeting and after 2 days of presentations and debate, they choose a color for the following year. The result:  The color is published – and then inspiration for fashion designers, florists, and many others is created!  Recent past colors have been 2013’s Emerald, 2012’s Tangerine Tango, and 2011’s Honeysuckle – this year we are LOVING the 2014 Color of the Year, Radiant Orchid.  According to Pantone, this color is “an enchanting harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink undertones” that “inspires confidence and emanates great joy, love and health”… absolutely perfect for a wedding color palette!  We love this lovely lavender-fuschia mix, do you?
